Brothers –

Chapter Update:

It has been an unusual year for the undergraduate brothers at Psi. While most have come back to Bethlehem for the fall semester, they have been living off campus. We have not been able to access the chapter house and social life has changed significantly. Recently, Lehigh notified us that the chapter house will remain closed in the spring.

While morale could be higher, the guys are staying positive and doing their best to navigate this unprecedented situation. This fall, we initiated 15 members from the Spring through a Virtual Initiation process, a different ceremony from what we do in person. We have utilized it on a National level with about 20 chapters across the country. While the Virtual Initiation makes them official brothers, they are still required to go through the normal Initiation process when they are back in the chapter house.

To date, recruitment has been virtual, but we are hoping that will change next semester.

The brothers regularly get tested for COVID-19. Though there are many cases across Lehigh and Greek Life students, miraculously, none of our guys have tested positive.

Briarfield Update:

We have officially set a date for our monumental 150th Anniversary Celebration: February 26, 2022. We reserved a ballroom at the Hotel Bethlehem and have a limited number of rooms blocked out for both Friday and Saturday night. If you are interested in a room for either night, please let us know sooner than later (alumni@briarfieldassociation.org). Formal invitations will be sent out next year. The last time we did this type of celebration was for our 140th, where we had about 150 Brothers, family, and friends in attendance.

We will be holding our Fall and Spring Briarfield meetings virtually until further notice.
Lastly, kindly remit your annual through the link at the top of the. Your donations are greatly appreciated!Stay safe, Brothers!
